UXRS wants your help to reach out to more of the UX community

UX Research and Strategy is growing again, and we want YOU to be a part of this expansion. 
Our community has talked, and we are listening. UXRS want to be more than just a trusted source of information and high-quality events. We also want to start conversations, encourage others to share and learn with the community. And that is where the Community Engagement Director comes in.

This is a great opportunity for you to give back to the UX community in an impactful way. You can help the community learn, grow, engage and connect. ​


Are you interested in: 
  • Driving community engagement via social media, Slack, and other channels
  • Work together with other board members to define, prioritize, and execute strategic and administrative projects that support the UX Research and Strategy non-profit organization 
  • Develop, define, contribute to and streamline our non-profit processes
If you answered yes to any of these, then we want YOU! 

Social media engagement for the Community Engagement Director includes:
  • Monitoring and answering social media posts and comments
  • Include new members in the UXRS
  • Start conversations on social media and Slack
  • Proactively post content related to UX research and strategy
  • Create content to be posted on UXRS website blog
  • Send out emails to educate community and share content and announcements on related to upcoming events

We are looking for a board member who will work closely with the Board of Directors and be a strategic partner to help define, plan, and execute a wide range of non-profit board activities and tasks and who is willing to evolve with the group as we continue to grow!

What you’ll bring:
  • Collaborative working style to build strong relationships with other board and committee members
  • Experience with coordinating multi-step projects and timelines
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality assets, on time
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential opportunities, and recommend solutions
  • Drive to continuously improve processes and the quality and impact of the team’s work and output
  • Ability to think quickly, resolve problems, and multi-task across numerous projects 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Contribute creative ideas to increase UXRS reach and community engagement
