UXRS wants your help to manage Social Media channels for our UX community
UX Research and Strategy is growing again, and we want YOU to be a part of this expansion.

Our community has talked, and we are listening. UXRS wants your help  to manage the Social Media for our rapidly growing global community and that’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to help us manage our social media channels and engage with our community!

This is a great opportunity for you to give back to the UX community in an impactful way. You can help the community learn, grow, engage and connect. ​

Are you interested in:
  • Posting high-quality content to social media channels and tapping into the latest social media features and trends?
  • Working together with the social media committee to curate impactful content across our channels?
  • Developing, defining, and contributing to and streamline our non-profit processes?

If you answered yes to any of these, then we want YOU!
 
Social Media responsibilities for the Social Media Manager includes:
  • Creating monthly content calendars
  • Posting to all social media channels using our management tool, eClincher as well as individual platforms
  • Responding to and engaging with community members on our social media channels
  • Utilizing social media features (i.e. IG stories, IG highlights, LinkedIn polls, etc.)
  • Generate new content and ideas for social media campaigns
 
We are looking for a committee member who will work closely with the Graphic Designers and Social Media Manager to help grow and evolve our content
 
What you’ll bring:
  • Collaborative working style to build strong relationships with other board and committee members
  • Experience with coordinating multi-step projects and timelines
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality assets, on time
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential opportunities, and recommend solutions
  • Drive to continuously improve processes and the quality and impact of the team’s work and output
  • Ability to think quickly, resolve problems, and multi-task across numerous projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
